Hi, I’m Marisa!

I’m an aquatic ecologist, broadly interested in rivers and estuaries and the organisms that move between them. I’ve guided educational hikes in the tropics, tagged migratory fish in the Great Lakes, and I currently work with horseshoe crabs and crustaceans on the South Carolina coast.
